Christmas Card- Joy Clair Designs
This card was so simple to make, you could easily make a ton of these if you need to send out a lot of holiday cards! This background stamp is the Sketchy Chevron background stamp. It is just adorable!
To begin, I inked the image with Ranger Distress ink in Mowed Lawn. Once that was dry, I splattered some silver paint from the MozArt Komorebi watercolor paint set onto the background. I cut the stamped image down so that there would be about 1/4" of white from the card base showing. I adhered the panel to the A2 card base (made from Neena Solar crest classic white cardstock).
After this, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Joyful Wishes sentiment stamp set with VersaMark embossing ink. I embossed it with silver embossing powder, and then cut it down slightly so that it would fit nicely on the card. I cut a piece of Schoolhouse Red cardstock from Simon Says Stamp to be slightly larger than the sentiment and adhered the two layers. Once that was done, I added some Scotch foam adhesive tape and then adhered it to the card base, and that was it! So simple, but oh so cute! I hope that you enjoy this card as much as I do!
