Prickley Pear Fall & Christmas cards

Prickley Pear was our amazing sponsor over at PPC & F. When I saw the Zipper card clear stamp sets Halloween/Fall and Christmas, I knew I had to have them. They can be found here: Halloween/Fall and Christmas . I loved working with these two sets!

First up are the fall cards. For the Halloween card, I used a piece of black cardstock and cut a one-inch strip out of it. I stamped the spooky eyes on a one-inch piece of white cardstock and then colored some of the eyes with Sakura fluorescent jelly roll pens. I added this to the card base and then popped the black cardstock up with some Scotch foam tape for dimension. I added some white splatters to the cardstock and adhered the sentiment (stamped with VersaFine ink in black onyx).

For the second card, I took a piece of watercolor paper and added some watercolor in Fiery Sunset and Warm and Cozy and also splattered the rest of the paper with these. I then stamped the pumpkins in VersaFine black ink. I cut the panel slightly smaller than the A2 card base so there would be a bit of a border around it. I stamped the sentiment in Autumn Blaze die ink from Altenew and colored a few of the leaves in and then adhered it to a black base. I adhered this to the top of the card base. Voila! Super simple and 2 beautiful cards!

For the first holiday card, I cut a bunch of paper strips from Simon Says Stamp Red Schoolhouse and Green Leaf cardstock and some from white cardstock (from Michaels). I adhered them randomly to the front of an A2 card base, leaving a small border on the left that I adhered a piece of Altenew metallic thread in silver to. Once I was done, I trimmed about 1" from the right of the card front so that I could stamp the sentiment on the side. I stamped the sentiment and embossed in silver. So simple these would be so easy to make a big batch of!

For the second card, I stamped the present stamp on some 1" strips of white cardstock and colored with Copic markers (list below). I had some scraps left from the red and green of the first card, so I cut them down to 1" strips and embossed them with a dotted embossing folder (it's so old I don't even know what brand it is!). I arranged on the A2 card base until I was happy and then adhered them to the card. Once done, I trimmed off any excess at the top and bottom of the card. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine black ink and adhered that with Scotch foam tape to make it pop a little bit.

These cards were so easy to make, and I love these stamps sets. They are so versatile and there are a ton more possibilities because I only used a few from each set! Thank you again to the amazing Prickley Pear stamps for sponsoring us!
